On XX/XX/2022, I tried to access my Transunion account to temporarily remove a freeze as I'm trying to purchase a vehicle. However, my password wouldn't work. I then tried to reset my password and was told to call their customer service number. That day I called them and also messaged them on XXXX at least 5 times, and it was never resolved. They would reset my password and say that I would receive an email. I would get the email but their temporary password would never work or it would work, I would log in, but the website would let me in, but I couldn't unfreeze my account. It would log me out. The customer service rep said that there would be maintenance done on my account and to wait 5 days and a supervisor would call me. No one called. On XX/XX/2022, I tried again to remove the freeze and couldn't get on my account. I spoke to 3 different reps and was told 3 different answers. I was able to get into my account again, but then it logged me out and didn't allow me to get in again. I asked them to unfreeze it and they said they couldn't. They said there was an error on my account for mismatched information. I have the credit report they sent me a month ago, and everything on there is correct. So I don't know what mismatched information they have and they couldn't tell me. One rep gave me a Case # of XXXX and told me someone would call me back in 5 minutes. 90 minutes later, I called them back because I got no phone call. They told me it would be 3 days, not 5 minutes. Once again, I have an appointment with the dealership and can't go because Transunion refuses to fix my account. I can get on XXXX XXXX and see my report, I can get on MyFico and see my Transunion report as well, and there are no errors, my information is correct. However, Transunion, the company, says my report has errors and won't let me unfreeze it. I'm beyond frustrated and tired of getting the run around from them. Denying me access to my account can't be legal. Waiting almost a month to gain access can't be legal either.
