I called capital one at XXXX XX/XX/XXXX today because my credit card account was closed. I was not warned in advance that it would be closed. I was told a letter was in the mail yesterday to alert me. The supervisor I spoke with on the phone stated that it was closed due to an error on the companys account when I was offered the credit card. I was told my account would not be reopened and a letter would be issued to the credit bureau within 90 days. I am in the process of purchasing a house and my credit score as of todays date had already dropped by XXXX XXXX. This can not be legal or acceptable and my issue is not resolved. The account was paid regularly with little to no balance each month.
