This dispute is for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. Flagship Credit was the lender. This vehicle is listed on my credit report at {$18000.00} balance amount purchased on XX/XX/XXXX. This vehicle had several expensive repair issues within the first year of purchase. I spent thousands of dollars on auto repairs. I even asked the dealership for help and they ignored me. I surrendered the car in XXXX of XXXX after the engine went completely out. The cost to repair the engine was more than the value of the car. I surrendered the car back to Flagship Credit, and they sold the car at auction. The selling price was {$2700.00}. All of the payments that I made on the vehicle were mainly used towards interest rates, which kept my principle payments nearly nonexistent. Flagship Credit charged me an astronomical interest rate on a vehicle that was obviously not worth the price. The vehicle was sold at auction for a fraction of the price I'm being held responsible for. Flagship Credit has charged off this account and sold it to XXXX XXXX collection agency. This is reporting the same vehicle on my credit report twice. Now XXXX XXXX is harassing me for payment when I never authorized or signed any contract with this company regarding this debt. XXXX XXXX is showing a balance of {$8200.00} There is an obvious discrepancy in the handling of this account which is causing me great suffering. There are conflicting balances and inaccurate information listed on my credit report from both of these agencies. Flagship charged off this account meaning they wrote off this debt and sold it to Synergetic meaning they were compensated twice on the same vehicle. My credit is damaged due to this inaccuracy and it is negatively affecting my way of living.
