On XX/XX/2022, I received an alert from my credit monitoring company, XXXX ( part of XXXX ), that an inquiry had been made on my credit report on XX/XX/2022, from Transform Credit , Inc. ( Transform ). When I subsequently contacted XXXX, I learned that someone had applied for credit from Transform in my name using my personal information. Because I had no knowledge of this application and had not authorized it, XXXX informed me I was a victim of identity theft and put a fraud alert on my credit report. However, when I attempted to alert Transform about the fraud and identity theft, it would not answer the phone and said it would not provide a call back. Instead, Transform texted me back requesting personally identifiable information to find my account. I responded that I do not have an account with Transform, had received a credit alert that it had made an inquiry on my account, and I was not willing to provide my personal information by text. Instead, I informed Transform that if I did not hear back from it, I would file a dispute with XXXX and a complaint with the CFPB. I subsequently emailed and wrote a letter to Transform and still have not heard back.
