Midland Credit Management is in violation of 15 USC code 1692e by reporting a derogatory account that shows the account type as a " debt buyer '' on my XXXX report while also reporting it as a collection. On my XXXX report they are reporting account type as a " Factoring Company '' while also reporting it as a collection. And on my XXXX report, they are reporting the account type as " Debt Buyer '', while simultaneously reporting it as a collection. 15 USC code 1692e clearly states that it is a violation of federal law. In addition to their violation above, on my XXXX report they are also reporting the account as closed and are not reporting the date is was closed. By doing so they are inadvertently attempting to reage the account. The Fair Credit Reporting Act says that reaging an account is illegal. They are also reporting a balance other than XXXX which is also incorrect. Midland Credit Management must close this negative account, and permanently delete it from all credit bureaus that are currently reporting it under my social security number.
