I had two accounts with Genesis FS Card Services, an Indigo and a Milestone that were past due. On XX/XX/XXXX I paid both cards off in full. In XXXX I checked my credit report to see if it updated and it stated that both cards were charged off so I called the credit card company and they told me they would have to investigate. After two weeks I called back again and they told me they dont see anything in the notes and I would have to speak with the charge off department. I called the number they gave me and the person I spoke with said that they could not help me and gave me another number to call. After weeks of trying to speak with someone that knew what they were talking about I finally was able to speak to someone on XX/XX/XXXX. She told me that she sees the cards were both paid off in full and does not understand why it says charged off/sent to collections and was sending the back office a work order and it should be corrected within two weeks. As of today XX/XX/XXXX it is not. I called them back today and now I am being told that they can not check the status of the work case number that I was given and that the accounts are both listed as charge offs and in collections. I told them that the accounts were never in collections and never charged off because I paid the balances in full and have my bank statements to prove it and they said that they will have to investigate again. This makes absolutely no sense to me at all and I dont understand why I am getting the run around and why this information has not been corrected. They received my money months ago and now my credit report has negative info on it and is effecting my credit score tremendously. This needs to be corrected as soon as possible. This credit card company is a joke and noone understands anything and they do not seem to know what they are doing. Please help me!
