Around XX/XX/XXXX someone started using my name to rent apartments in at least California, Washington DC, New York, and Pennsylvania. I have not lived ANYWHERE but MISSOURI since XX/XX/XXXX. I have maintained and ran a business in MISSOURI since XX/XX/XXXX. I placed a Fraud Alert with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Several months ago ProCollect began harassing me about {$7900.00} owed. Every time they called I asked for written proof of the debt. They never sent me written proof. They were harassing, rude, and hung up on me. They demanded money or that I send a police report, yet they would not provide info about the debt so that I could file one. XX/XX/XXXX - I filed complaint against ProCollect with XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - ProCollect finally sent me a one page statement which had no identifying information for me except for my first and last name. Th page only showed {$2000.00} in charges. No contract has been provided. Nothing with my signature has been provided. XX/XX/XXXX - Called XXXX to dispute the collection by ProCollect on my credit report. This is NOT my debt. I demand ProCollect remove the debt from my credit reports.
