On XXXX I called Franklin, I had to email them to get permission for my negotioator to speak with me on the line in writing. After she did this I was emailed back and so was she telling us to call the servicer. On XX/XX/22 I called the servicer for Franklin XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) to see if I could settle the {$830.00} medical debt it shows owed on my credit report. I spoke to XXXX XXXX at XXXX and she told me I owed {$1800.00}. I asked her if she had been mistaken as this is over {$1000.00} more than is shown on my credit report. She say it was because of interest and other costs. They are posting {$830.00} on my credit yet demanding {$1800.00}. This can not be legal. I have received nothing in the mail about this as they didnt even have my correct address on file prior to this phone call.
