Pursuant to 12 CFR 1016 ( Regulation P ), I should have received a reasonable opportunity before the disclosure of my nonpublic personal information to the nonaffiliated third party, to opt out of the disclosure. Since Equifax created a profile with my nonpublic personal information without my authorization, I have yet to receive an opt-out disclosure via mail, electronic means, or an isolated transaction pertaining to the disclosure of my nonpublic information from Equifax. This is not fair, accurate, equitable for me as a consumer. The nonpublic personal information that Equifax is disclosing is forcing me to lose confidence in the banking system because of Equifax credit reporting methods.
