I had a rent collections account show up on my credit report via XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX. I disputed this with Experian about XXXX years ago and after their investigation they removed this inaccurate collection. I recently applied to three different homes and was denied by all. After requesting my credit file, Experian XXXX Bureau is still reporting this collection account. I called Experian several times with no help. This has caused XXXX new inquiries on my file, all which have ended in a denial and is further damaging my credit and chances of renting anywhere else. Not to mention I am now out of {$170.00} in application fees. To date this collection account is still being reported.
