It has been since the beginning of 2022 that I have been trying to get access to my free credit report from Transunion. I had to send in information to verify my identity and even when I have called on separate occasions on dates in XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX, I have still not been able to get online access to my credit report. Customer services keeps telling me that my case number XXXX has been " escalated '' to address the problem, and they have told me over 4 times that I will be able to view my credit report online within 7-10 business days and each of those 4 times, I am faced with an error message. They have explained that since Transunion had to separate two files ( my mother and I have the same name, so all our information was entwined and treated as one single credit report ), that was the issue. But supposedly that is the issue that keeps getting " escalated '' and I have been told the same thing over 4 times that it will be viewable to no avail.
