This investigation is for the IMPROPER USE OF MY CREDIT REPORT AND VIOLATION OF MY RIGHTS TO PRIVACY. The credit bureau TRANSUNION stated my account was properly investigated and verified. This was not an verification based investigation. This investigation is for the IMPROPER USE OF MY CREDIT REPORT AND VIOLATION OF MY RIGHTS TO PRIVACY I reached out to Transunion because according to federal guidelines 15 U.S. Code 1681 I have the right to privacy and requested that they removed the account # XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX my credit report in the amount of {$360.00}. I contacted Transunion multiple times with the final time being today XX/XX/2022 The law states " ( 4 ) There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy '' My right to privacy has been violated and I have reached out to this company. The law also states under 15 U.S. Code 1681b A Section 2 ( a ) In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I've never gave written consent for this account to furnish my credit report and Transunion is not doing a proper investigation on my credit report being used improperly.
