I refinanced a student loan and TFC Credit Corporation has been pain in full by XXXX since XX/XX/22. It is now XX/XX/22, and the company has refused to return the overpayment in the amount of {$4800.00}. I have spoken with 4 different customer service agents at TFC, and each time they have given me a different reason as to why my check has not been sent out. I was initially advised that after the payment posted to my account, any overpayment would be mailed to me directly within XXXX days. XXXX, the customer service supervisor I spoke with on XX/XX/22 advised that I needed to request the money be returned to me otherwise the company retains overpayments. He then went on to say that I would need to wait another week for the XX/XX/22 check run. Today on XX/XX/22 I was advised by XXXX XXXX, a Director at TFC, that I would need to wait until the XX/XX/22 check run, because checks are only sent out once a month. Every time I have called this company, they give me a new reason for retaining the money. I am aware that companies float money for interest and this is exactly what is happening to me and many others scammed by TFC.
