Equifax is in violation of the FCRA. I sent Equifax ( via certified mail ) multiple dispute requests dated XX/XX/22, XX/XX/22, and XX/XX/22. Each of those times Equifax said the results were verified or they modified the file as a result of the investigation. After 3 attempts of disputing and each time coming back verified, I exercised my rights under FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 7 ). I requested a method of verification along with a re-investigation. I stated that any automated response or e-Oscar verification was unacceptable. I listed the accounts in question and sent that request via certified mail on XX/XX/22. FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 7 ) provides A consumer reporting agency shall provide to a consumer a description referred to in paragraph ( 6 ) ( B ) ( iii ) by not later than 15 days after receiving a request from the consumer for that description. Equifax did not comply with my request for method of verification. On XX/XX/22 I sent Equifax another letter via certified mail asking them to delete the accounts in question based on their lack of compliance with the method of verification. I asked them to do so within 15 days of receiving that letter. Equifax received that letter on XX/XX/22. As of XX/XX/22 those items remain.
