I requested PMI removal in XX/XX/2022. Paid {$150.00} for the BPO Inspection. I was told that before Caliber would schedule a BPO I would first need to provide Improvements ( if any ) dates and values ( dollar amounts ) of each. I have been in my home for almost 3 years. I have made literally thousands of dollars in improvements over that 3 year period. It would take me hours upon hours to go thru my files, bank records, charge accounts to develop this information. On the other hand, if I submit my request stating I made no improvements, Caliber is telling me that my request would be automatically denied. They also state that this policy directive comes straight from their investors. I purchased at {$220000.00}. The value of my home ( without any known improvements ) per the current market is {$340000.00}. {$220000.00} x XXXX % = XXXX. I should be able to have PMI removed at this value. Even if my home appraised for a lot less, PMI would still be removed. I feel that Caliber is extorting funds and manipulating their rules in order to receive the extra monies.
