I have a XXXX account that I opened XX/XX/XXXX. Apparently, XXXX changed the banks the company uses for purchases on several occasions and every time this happens XXXX reports to the credit bureaus that I closed my account. From my understanding, the letter I received from XXXX about these changes stated that I will continue to have the same customer number, but they will provide me with a new XXXX account number. The issue is that on my credit report it shows my XXXX account that I originally opened which listed as by " XXXX XXXX Credit Account '' on XX/XX/XXXX. This account was fraudulently reported as being closed on XX/XX/XXXX. Another XXXX account listed as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX '' was fraudulently reported that I opened this account on XX/XX/XXXX, following the " supposed '' and " fraudulent '' closure of the previous account which was fraudulently reported as being closed on XX/XX/XXXX. This account was also fraudulently reported as being closed on XX/XX/XXXX. Lastly, another XXXX account listed as " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXt '' was fraudulently reported as being opened on XX/XX/XXXX, which contradicts the previous reported date of my XXXX account being closed on XX/XX/XXXX. This account is reported as still being active. My customer number on these accounts did not change, but there were changes to me XXXX account number on all of them. At the moment I do not have access the different account numbers that were provided to me. I am currently trying to retrieve them from XXXX.
