Company has performed numerous unfair credit reporting acts to intentionally damage my credit. My attorney stated that Exeter Finance LLC sold this alleged debt to a debt collector, which I am unaware of, and that you Exeter Finance LLC is in violation of fair credit reporting practices. The alleged debt is a closed debt with no balance owed and Exeter Finance LLC has benefited from having sold this alleged debt. Law states that as the original creditor they can not continue to report a balance due if they have sold the account to a collections agency. The only exception in which they can report is if it is in a charge off status which it is not and therefore, they have to delete the item.
