Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau : I am contacting you because I understand that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau helps consumers by providing educational materials and accepting complaints, and that your bureau supervise banks, lending institutions, and large non-bank entities, such as credit reporting agencies and debt collection companies. I submitted a request to Experian on XX/XX/2022 showing that there are incorrect information being reported on my credit profile. I requested that they validate the inaccurate inquires on my credit report with the companies as I demand to see verifiable proof of any original documentation associated with these inaccurate inquires accounts bearing my wet-ink signature, authorizing an inquiry. I sent Experian a certified letter letting them know that the info was incorrect and it has been well over 45 days and I have not gotten response as of today XX/XX/2022. The Fair Credit Reporting Laws are in place to ensure that bureaus only report 100 % accurate credit information therefore the below inquires needed to be investigated. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 1681b ( c ) and is a serious breach of my privacy rights. Also according to Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), the credit bureaus are required by federal law to physical verify the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on your credit bureaus credit report. I am respectfully requesting that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau assist me with having these fraudulent inquiries accounts removed from my credit report as they have hurt my ability to obtain credit. Under the FCRA, I also requested that if Experian was unable to provide me a copy of verifiable proof, that they must remove the inaccurate inquires accounts from my credit report.
