Navient serviced student loan debt from a 2007 account. Recently I have been getting mail regularly ; just about monthly for last 3 months. I have worked with some of the credit repair people, and they told me " No way should this account be on your report or be valid on any type of form. '' And was advised not to pay it. Also, I believe the Statute is 7 years. There have been a lot of policy changes in 15 years and data brokering have become a source of viable income. Nonetheless, I wish not to be a part of whatever plan or business model they have currently. It seems each time we get this " cleared up '' - it pops up again. Lastly, I think I made one voluntary payment, it was less than XXXX . I haven't contacted them at all. And had no intentions of getting into a payment agreement. I believe they operate ( now ) as non-profit organization. I attached a few documents. It had 4 pages in the envelope, 2 pages was disclosures.
