Hello, I called into each credit bureau and asked them kindly to please do a full investigation of every piece of information on the accounts listed below over a month ago! And nothing was done. I called in because i didn't not recognize the accounts and they are unauthorized. 15 U.S.C 1681 C-2 605B A : A consumer reporting agency shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt by such agency of - ( 1 ) appropriate proof of the identity of the consumer ; ( 2 ) a copy of an identity theft report ; ( 3 ) the identification of such information by the consumer ; and ( 4 ) a statement by the consumer that the information is not any information relating to any transaction by the consumer. CFPB, Please help me work with the credit bureaus to make sure these accounts that do not belong to me get removed from my reports. I just want my report to be 100 % mine and 100 % accurate. I want my voice to be heard and I want the credit bureaus to do a proper investigation and review every detail of all these accounts as well as my ftc report and police report and remove these unauthorized accounts. Like I said, I believe I'm a victim of identity theft so they should be removed within 4 days of receiving this anyways because I just filed the ftc report and police report.
