I enrolled in Experian 's Boost feature on their website, connecting my bank accounts so that streaming service payments could be identified and reported as payments on my credit report. The goal is supposedly to boost your credit score by a few points - at least that is what Experian advertises ( https : XXXX XXXX ) and heavily promotes. But my accounts have not been added and I have not received any of the promoted " boosts '' to my credit score for regular payments. When I called today, Experian customer service stated that I had to have utility bills, streaming services, or phone bills to qualify, and that those services had to have been paid three times in the last six months. My streaming services are : XXXX -paid XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX - all in XXXX. XXXX - Paid XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX- all in XXXX XXXX XXXX account # XXXX - paid XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX - all in XXXX XXXX XXXX account # XXXX - paid XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. None of these accounts have been added to my credit report as promised even though I have exposed my bank account information to Experian on their promotion and advertisements that I would. The Experian website states that the bank connections from XXXX XXXX to Experian were successful, so there are no connection issues. When I called I was told there was no " guarantee '' that these would be placed on my credit report but the advertising and promotions say otherwise.
