On XX/XX/2022 I saw an alert XXXX credit report letting me know there was a hard inquiry for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which I immediately did not recognize. I contacted XXXX that day, which started a dispute process for the unauthorized hard inquiry. They were able to remove this from my report within a few days. The financial institution in question 's fraud department contacted me and left a voicemail on the XXXX. I attempted to contact them via the financial institution 's fraud line number but did not reach them immediately. When I reached out again about two weeks later, they told me about the credit card opened with my information, which they flagged as fraudulent within a few days of the account opening. They were able to successfully close down the credit card and the account they opened linked to the line of credit. On XX/XX/2022 I received a letter from another financial institution XXXX XXXX XXXX requesting I send them my paystubs so that the loan could be processed. I of course did not recognize this financial institution. I called the financial institution and let them know my identity was stolen, they immediately closed the loan application and, presumably, the account that was opened with it. XX/XX/2022 I contacted XXXX to remove the other hard inquiry for XXXX XXXX XXXX, which started a dispute process. Currently waiting to see that the dispute is resolved.
