I have a Venmo account that Ive only used twice in the three years Ive had it. 18 months ago they made an accounting error and stated I owed them XXXX XXXX After dozens of calls and proving records they finally fixed my account a month ago and instead of me owing them {$230.00}. There is a credit balance Id {$61.00}. Ive tied repeatedly to obtain those funds and close the account but they will not allow me to take possession of my credit balance as they have my account locked saying I need to provide them my identification and Ive now supplied that twice. They are now telling me that can not verify that Im the owner of the account even after Ive sent my drivers license, validated my phone number, email, address, date of birth, address and last four of my bank account attached to the account ( none of which has changed since inception of this account.
