Consumer Narrative

I received a debit card from Capital One. When I called Capital One to let them know I had not requested an account with them I was told that someone else had used my social security number. I told them I had my credit reports frozen due to previous fraud and was told they do not pull credit to open a bank account. I requested to have the account closed immediately. I received a letter from Capital One on XX/XX/22 informing me that they had closed the acct ending in XXXX.
