I was told by my Bank Lender to ask for a letter stating that the debt payment had been DELETED. I was told the letter would state that the debt would be deleted. The letter simply stated that the debt had been paid in full. Once the funds clear, your account will be considered closed. But, nothing stating deletion. When I called the Rep said they would not do a deletion. Once the deletion is stated in writing my credit status would return to where it previously was. Thank you, XXXX XXXX
