This is not a new complaint. It is addition to one filed yesterday, because a new problem arose today. You have all the info from yesterday. Here is the new. We applied for membership at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX today so we could ask for credit there.. Our app, just like our credit card apps in XXXX, ended up in the fraud dept with them saying they can't verify who we are. They need docs sent through a link and neither browser will let us use that link to send it. We never did before XXXX XXXX Now every time we apply for anything -- XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX credit card apps, etc. -- it is sent to their fraud dept. because of the mess of illegal/outdated info in our file at all XXXX agencies. This is a continuation of the problem where they dumped a bunch of old emails, addresses, names, and phone numbers in our file back in XXXX. We knew already that they hadn't replaced that old info with the info we've had for XXXX YEARS now ( so nobody had a problem " verifying '' us before ), as our credit scores were still wrecked. So we filed a complaint on that yesterday. Now we're adding this to it. Since XXXX all our apps ( even for the XXXX XXXX XXXX membership! ) this info goes to the fraud dept of these companies. We know this because we spoke to the rep and found out that was what keeps happening to us. The reason? Too much unreliable XXXX that is in our file illegally. It was all wiped out at our XXXX XXXX years ago and only put back in, in XXXX, illegally. ( This dates back to our original complaint, the XXXX weeks in XXXX when all that extra info from before our bankruptcy, XXXX years ago, was dumped into our file, making it impossible to tell what is real and what is not. ) No credit co ever had problems identifying either of us before. Now we can't even join the XXXX credit union, as we are still trying to replace our 0 % cards with new ones, as these expire this year. ( all this is in previous complaints. ) We were told by the fraud dept of XXXX, the first time this happened last XXXX, it was because all this old info under old names, addresses, etc. was back in in our fi le and they couldn't tell who we were. There are old reports in my wife 's maiden name, and we've been married since XXXX! The next credit app in XXXX -- same thing. Now today- same thing with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and credit card. This now has not only wrecked our credit beyond repair -- now we can't even get people to consider us for a XXXX XXXX membership Yesterday 's complaint said we wanted our scores put back to XXXX where they were in XXXX, as we have had no late payments and nothing else to lower our credit since then, yet it was crushed between XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX for no reason. WE STILL NEED THAT DONE. Now we want our actual names, current address ( for nearly a decade now! ) and phone number ( same thing ) put in our credit report at all XXXX bureaus and that old junk that is landing us in the fraud dept every time we try to apply for something OUT. NOW. We are sick and tired of dealing with this XXXX. There is no reason, when we have been at the same house, which we own, for a decade, to keep going through this. Clean out our file and bring it up to date! Then explain why you dropped our credit scores by XXXX points in one 3-week period with no negative activity. I am a veteran ; I served my country ; my wife and I have taught XXXX children all all lives, we have built up excellent credit, and now not only is our credit ruined, but we can't even get companies to CHECK our credit. They're sending us straight to the fraud dept -- and we need extra docs to join a XXXX XXXX? A XXXX XXXX XXXX? It '' s not the XXXX 's fault. It's the fault of the XXXX XXXX credit reporting agencies that screwed up our file between XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX and never fixed it despite complaints with you, the XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and a XXXX XXXXXXXX. Are we going to have to go to our congressional rep next?
