Items that were not on the initial loan estimate were subsequently added to following closing cost details and settlement statements. The services and amounts charged kept changing and I was denied the opportunity to fill out my own loan application for an amount that would include repairs and upgrades. I was charged for items that should have been covered by the seller or lender and told the sellers credit was being applied to those fees, despite the addendum stating that credit was for repairs left unfinished by the sellers. The closing cost continued to changed and there are false charges to the Broker and a Pest company for septic/sewer/trash services. I was charged multiple times for the same taxes and recording services. I was never refunded or credited my earnest money deposit and my principal and interest payment change on the payment schedule despite having a fixed rate. When I questioned these things I was told by my mortgage officer that the VA required these changes or they wouldnt approve the loan. The closing package does not have all the documentation regarding fees paid, invoices for services, or even my credit reports. Im addition the deed states SINGLE WOMAN by my name. I brought these concerns to my agent, the title company, and my loan officer to no avail. I will upload all the documentation I have detailing my complaint.
