We have been trying to do a loan modification with Loan Depot since last XXXX. To date we have got a resolution. We have been told so many discrepancies from even supervisors. We have submitted our documentation to them over 20 times if not more. We get contradicting information from Loan Depot in the mail-ex ; your loan has been caught up '' one day later " your loan is in default '' we can help you ''. Throughout the last 6-7 months of going back and forth sending documentation they have needed, letters, etc. my husband called XXXX ; the status and whomever he spoke to said " our request has been denied - " because we aren't 3 months behind on our mortgage '' NO ONE COULD TELL US THAT IN THE LAST 6 1/2 MONTHS!!! Their paperwork that we have filled out states to qualify for a loan modification the hardship had to be resolved. so how can we do that if they tell us our payments need to be 3 or more months late- if that was the case we would have not paid. Also they paid out homeowners insurance almost 2 months early now our escrow account is negative, in return our house payment has increased significantly. All we wanted to do and what was suggested to us back in XXXX by a LOAN DEPOT representative was to apply for a loan modification. We are about XXXX XXXX months behind- we just wanted to modify the loan to add the amount late and get caught up- They have every single letter, application, documentation, etc. We are beyond frustrated!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND LOAN DEPOT TO ANYONE
