In XXXX, I entered into a two year lease agreement with XXXX to lease a XXXX XXXX XXXX. My lease was schedule to expire on XX/XX/XXXX. I called XXXX in XXXX and asked to extend my lease term for a few months because my father was in the hospital and I was unable to locate a replacement vehicle. XXXX agreed to extend the term of my lease. During my conversation with the representative I was never told that during the renewal term XXXX would stop collecting my monthly lease payment from my auto payment account on file. For two years I paid my lease on time every month through the auto payment option on the XXXX website. I was never late and never missed a payment. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a notification from the credit bureaus that XXXX reported my XXXX payment as late to the credit bureaus. I called XXXX right away and found out that I was reported because XXXX did not auto bill my payment. I told them that I was never informed about this policy and I did not receive any notification prior to the credit marking. XXXX declined to remove the credit marking. This is a false and deceptive practice by XXXX to potentially trick customers into paying late fees, or this is an oversight in their business practice policy. XXXX failed to provide the proper notices. This is the only negative credit marking on my credit history in the past four years and it has lowered by credit score by XXXX points, which resulted in a car loan and mortgage loan denial. XXXX also failed to report my on time payments to the credit bureaus on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX.
