XX/XX/XXXX I received a message on a job I applied to on XXXX. The company emailed me a check to buy the equipment for the job. The gave me a vendor to use. I deposited the money and luckily I could only send XXXX a day through Zelle. On XX/XX/XXXX I realized it was a scam. I called XXXX to alert them about the check and to stop the Zelle payment. It was too late and now I have XXXX less in the bank. Fees on the check for fraud even though I was the one who called them, and restrictions on my bank account. My automatic payments can not go through because I lost the privilege which I didn't know. I told XXXX about the job and it is still up.
