On XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo Bank charged off my account due to the negative balance status. I have been XXXX and experiencing hardships since XX/XX/XXXX due to the Covid-19 pandemic. On XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo Bank submitted information to XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX claiming that my account was closed due to Account Abuse. I never abused my Wells Fargo Bank account - I was experiencing long term XXXX, XXXX and a total loss of my income as a result. I filed a claims related to a {$400.00} charge that appeared on my account. I followed Wells Fargo policies and procedures for filing a claim and they refused to investigate it as they stated their policies did not allow them to investigate claims related to peer to peer financial transactions. On XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to open two checking accounts - XXXX Bank, and XXXX Bank and was denied a checking account based on the information reported by Wells Fargo Bank to XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. Wells Fargo Bank 's errors has caused adverse actions to be taken against me ; I was denied two checking account opportunities and the opportunity to establish a new relationship with another financial institution. Wells Fargo Banks ' actions also caused me extreme public humiliation and embarrassment as I was turned down by these banks and had to suffer during and after conversation. Finally, I believe Wells Fargo Bank 's actions toward me are malicious, deliberate, and well defined against XXXX American consumers who seek to pursue justice in a court of law. Wells Fargo 's action against me violated my rights under the Fair Credit and Reporting Act because they willfully and intentionally reported erroneous information that has caused other financial institutions to make adverse decisions against me. This matter has prevented me from moving forward with securing a checking account with a major bank.
