I have disputed a collection that is being reported by Credit services. This collector unlawfully increased the amount of a medical debt with punitive fees and interest charges. Credit Service responded with a response ( which I have included the entire response in the attachments ) that " Your accounts are showing a current balance due of {$3700.00}, which includes an accrual of interest. '' I have also included the documents they provided which show an original amount of {$2600.00}. Which I was charged the It is unlawful to add over {$1100.00} in interest and fees to a MEDICAL bill to which they still have not provided me any proof that I legally owe them this money. The original documents from the original provider does not include any interest or fees, nor does it state that I am responsible to pay Credit Service, nor did they provide me with a signed HIPAA release form. Which now they have violated over XXXX FCRALaws, FDCPA and HIPAA LAWS.
