XXXX Report : Bill was never submitted to insurance even though insurance information was provided to hospital. Additionally the amount owed is {$22000.00}. The collection agency ( Rash Curtis ) has ballooned it to {$35000.00}, stating interest has been accumulating. Yet other hospital bills with other collection firms/companies have never charged interest fees. Responsibility lies with the hospital and insurance. Someone needs to investigate Rash Curtis for bullying tactics with harassing phone calls, pressure tactics as well as personal threats. On the XXXX report they have bumped the total yet again, to {$35000.00} and added another False claim that a separate charge of {$50.00} is still owed to the same hospital and has bumped that total to {$75.00} with no information provided as to why. XXXX report is {$35000.00}. Again this collection company is making up whatever total they want and stating its related to interest charges. I no longer have this particular insurance coverage/plan that was used for this hospital visit as I have changed jobs since then. Balance incorrect. Collection agency violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act with unfair practices and forging multiple debts. As well as Harrassment and Abuse. They also did a hard inquiry on my XXXX report which said I applied for credit with them, which is false. Again, this is false information and should be removed from my hard inquiries. I did not apply for credit with them. Rash Curtis has raised the balance w/o my at consent. Additionally, it seems only their false statements and falsified cost increases are accepted as truths while my information is discarded altogether. The shear amount of harrassing phone calls put so much stress in my life, that quality of living was affected. They called day and night, changed phone numbers over and over again. All while I gave them the same information ... .that the bills need to be submitted to insurance. Additionally, I spoke with the hospital in question to please file with the insurance company/info they obtained from me right from the get go. The personal threat of suing me over these medical bills was enough for me to have full on panic attacks. I have recently applied for a home loan and was denied at 1 lenders office due to Rash Curtis and bullying tactics. They also said as long as they legally can stay on my credit reports they will continue by all means necessary as well as continuing to obtain the unpaid debt including suing me. There are to many dates to list them all here. I pray that this mean, horrible collection agency and or dirty lawyers be brought to justice. I can't be the only one who has had these types of experiences with them.
