In early XXXX, I had looked into the possibility of obtaining a personal loan from XXXX XXXX. While going through the process and submitting some basic information, I decided against applying for the loan. To be completely clear, I did not finish the application process as they were asking for more documentation I was not comfortable giving to them AND never received any sort of loan offer because the application was never finished. Today, I was notified by TransUnion that XXXX XXXX had created a hard inquiry for credit score WITHOUT my authorization OR permission, as I had made it extremely clear I was no longer interested in applying for a loan.
