To Whom It May Concern : Currently Amerihome is reporting a XXXX day late in XX/XX/XXXX to my credit history. This late marking is a byproduct of my XX/XX/XXXX payment posting late. Please note XXXX payment was not late due to negligence or lack of funds. The late occurred because I contracted XXXX in late XXXX of XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for all of XX/XX/XXXX and was unable to pay all my bills. Once I returned home in XXXX of XXXX, I immediately paid all my bills and alerted them regarding my inconvenience. Amerihome Mortgage is the only creditor that is choosing not to acknowledge my hardship during this time and remove the negative reporting to my credit profile. I am forwarding the statements from my hospital visit that I sent to Amerihome to prove that I was incapacitated an unable to pay my bill. Amerihome has failed to acknowledge these documents in the 3 attempts I have shared them and because of that has failed to consider removing the XXXX day late from my credit profile, even though I have given them everything they needed to be in line with XXXX federally mandated " Cares Act! '' What good is the cares act if nobody cares? Please help me to get back to my life as I am desperate to have my credit restored and return to my business endeavors in the way I am accustomed.
