We have a home loan with Caliber home loans. There are multiple issues that we have had with them. Since at least XXXX XXXX XXXX, we have been trying to fo through the process of refinancing our house. During covid ( XXXX ) we ended up having to go on a forbearance for just a couple months ( even made small payments ). We signed the paperwork and sent it back, was told everything was done and granted. Well, then in XXXX we wanted to refinance. Caliber kept telling us that our account hasn't been updated to reflect anything. We kept getting the same response every week ( " we are working on it and should be updated next week. " ). To this day, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, our account is still messed up and not updated!!! The whole reason we are refinancing is because we can not afford our payments ( that got raised right after we signed papaerwork ) paperwork. Since they have stalled on everything, we lost the opportunity for a good rate, and now our refinance ( because we do not want to be associated with Caliber any longer due to no help at all from them ), we are in hold because they haven't updated our account with our forbearance. It has been a YEAR since that forbearance!!! Why is this not taken care of like we were told??? How are they able to get away with stuff like this??? No one wants to talk to us about anything. We get transferred, told the same things over and over, and NOTHING IS GETTING DONE. They are the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. And I worked with a foreclosure company! What can we do to get the to stop screwing us?!?! Like I said... we have been dealing with this for a year!
