Im XXXX my wallet was lost or stolen. In XXXX I found multiple accounts on my credit that were not mine. I resided in XXXX Texas at the time and filed a police report and a complaint with the FTC and forwarded the documents to the credit bureaus. Equifax and XXXX have both refused to remove the fraudulent accounts. In early XXXX I started receiving alerts that my social security number was found on the dark web. I contacted XXXX and Equifax again to notify them of this and again they failed to protect me as a consumer and by placing a fraud alert on my credit profile and removing the accounts. The XXXX POLICE DEPARTMENT POLICE REPORT NUMBER IS XXXX this report was filed in XXXX and provided to both Equifax & XXXX at that time Ive attached all of the paper trail for this for review and below each account is listed that does not belong to me and is a result of identity theft. 15 USC 1681 Section 602 States I have the right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. FCRA 605B ( 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ) ( a ) Block. Except as otherwise provided in this section, a consumer reporting agency shall block the reporting of any information in the file of a consumer that the consumer identifies as information that resulted from an alleged identity theft, not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt by such agency.
