Unable to get my free Equifax annual credit report online as promised on XXXX XXXX. An error message claims Equifax is unable to verify my identity but no such error occurred with the other reporting agencies. As a result I now have to wait 6 weeks for my ordered annual credit report over the phone or by mail. When I clicked on the link to check my Equifax credit report, a page stating that the system was not available and takes me to a page that states Status404 - not found the origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists. After it says, " report already received '' and I have not received my free annual credit report from Equifax. This is not the first time, which tells me they don't care nor have intentions on solving this issue. It would not let me back in the site. I have gone to Equifax website, but you must purchase a product in order to speak with a human person. The links connected with the Fair Credit Reporting Act for their site are not active, there is no phone number to resolve issue. You can't even order a credit report without signing up for a monthly subscription.
