This collection was reported in error. The collection agency sent a letter to all 3 credit bureaus informing them to remove the account from reporting on my credit files in XXXX. XXXX and XXXX removed the account. Equifax has not. I called the company and they informed me they notified Equifax to remove the account from reporting. Equifax is failing to comply with the letter attached. This was sent 5 months ago and is now affecting my ability to borrow money.
