Requesting to have my late history during a State of an Emergency XXXX removed is what the Federal Government put in place. I m not asking you to lie. I am asking you to oblige : Under the Credit Protections Under the Coronavirus CARES When Federal Law Prohibits Negative Credit Reporting The CARES Act, which was signed into law on XX/XX/2020, Act amends the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) to stop adverse credit reporting during the XXXX crisis Under the amended FCRA, if a " furnisher '' makes an accommodation because you were affected by COVID-19 during the covered period ( see below ), that furnisher must report your account as current to the credit reporting agencies, so long as you weren't already delinquent on payments. ( A " furnisher '' is an entity, like a lender or creditor, that provides information relating to consumers to one or more credit reporting agencies for inclusion in a credit report. ) Their response is they can not report inaccurate information.. My response back to them is providing them information regarding the Credit Protections Under the Coronavirus CARES.
