I challenged the validity of an alleged bankruptcy on my credit report with all XXXX bureaus. All XXXX bureaus verified the alleged bankruptcy as valid. I then sent a letter to the court house where the bankruptcy was housed. In the letter to the courthouse I stated that according to my report there is an alleged bankruptcy on my record from your court house. Are you subscribed to the bureaus that is reporting the information as accurate. The courthouse sent me back a letter stating they are not subscribed to the bureaus to have any information placed on my report. It was not validated through them. A follow up investigation led to the bureaus stating they verified the information through Lexis Nexis. I sent a letter, which is attached, to Lexis Nexis specifically asking for what documents they had to verify the alleged bankruptcy. I received a letter from Lexis Nexis, which is attached.
