Ive been in the process of applying for a mortgage for the past several months. The XXXX obstacle stopping us from obtaining the loan is Equifax. My lender has been unable to access my credit report from Equifax, and so have I. I have repeatedly contacted Equifax to resolve the issue with no avail. Ive been asked to send in documents to verify my identity over and over again. Starting in XXXX, I have sent in several copies of my drivers license and social security card after being told that the previous attempt failed. I have lost complete faith in this company as I have sent in my documents over XXXX times now, and have still been unable to access my credit report. I am unable to get a loan because of them, and have lost tens of thousands of dollars as rates have gone exponentially higher.
