Medicredit is saying that we owe {$110.00} dollars that was paid in full on XX/XX/XXXX, Reported to them on XX/XX/XXXX. The account number listed is for a different person. The original debt was for us. They are reporting it as open and still an outstanding balance. They have also agreed to remove the accounts and are now saying that it is not in their practice to remove any accounts. I have been told several stories as to what is going on in this account including it being paid and reported as paid in full to they sold it to another agency. Dispute was filed on XX/XX/XXXX and they have yet to respond to the dispute. On XX/XX/XXXX called to get receipts of items paid and to find out more about this talked to XXXX twice over at medicredit and was told 2 different things. They can see that I have paid it, but are unsure why it is still saying owed. Then the second time was that they sold the account and couldn't tell me to who. I am extremely concerned with their practices and feel this is unfair reporting since it was paid!
