On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Discover for my account being closed for any of these XXXX reasons per the companies letter. Your discover card account has been inactive for XXXX months or longer and/or account has been closed. I called customer service about XXXX weeks ago they were basing everything around XXXX. When the last purchase I did was in XX/XX/XXXX. About less than XXXX months the account was closed due to inactivity. Today I reached out to their account review department, where they state that after XXXX months of inactivity they can close the accounts. Issue with this, hits my credit for no reason and I never received a warning my account would be closed due to inactivity. Tried talking to XXXX at the Account XXXX department to try to get my original credit line to just getting the same speech of the account being closed after XXXX months even though their letter to me stated XXXX months or longer. I tried applying to get a new credit card but the limit is only XXXX when I originally had {$8500.00}. I cant get an increase because of insufficient experience with current discover credit limit. This is based on the {$3000.00} credit card, not on my previous experience with them.
