I purchased a gaming PC from a company that builds them on XXXX XXXX, with all of the latest stuff, back in XXXX of 2022. I financed my purchase through Affirm, and paid off about {$1800.00} of the {$3500.00} balance almost immediately, to be finished with the loan in about 7 months. The company I was purchasing the computer from, XXXX Builds, went out of business for a myriad of reasons, and I asked them for a refund. I had no response from XXXX until XXXX saying that the company was frozen and all employees were laid off on XX/XX/XXXX, and to get a refund through my bank, or if financed through Affirm, to get a refund from them. I provided all legal documents and communications to show that the company is no longer in business and that I would like a refund. I have not received any communication back about getting my refund or any info when I call since XXXX from Affirm, or anyone else. It is a lot of money to withhold, and I would like it back.
