My name is XXXX XXXX, a federally protected consumer, and Im making this complaint against GLASS MOUNTAIN CAPITAL LLC. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from GLASS MOUNTAIN CAPITAL LLC saying that they are trying to collect a debt that I owe to XXXX XXXX I, XXXX. First, the name on the letter is wrong and not my legal name. Second, I have never signed a contract with XXXX XXXX I, XXXX, so I am confused on how GLASS MOUNTAIN CAPITAL LLC, which is a debt collector, is trying to collect a debt for another debt collector. I haven't even given GLASS MOUNTAIN CAPITAL LLC any permission to use any of my identifying information to contact me about an alleged debt they claim I owe. I am aware that in accordance with Article 9, the assignment of a defaulted note is illegal. Both the assignee and the assigned are both liable for violations under 15 USC 1692e ( 12 ). I am demanding a cease and desist of all illegal activity, any communication, and collection activity of this alleged debt until GLASS MOUNTAIN CAPITAL LLC can provide me with sufficient documentary evidence, like a contract agreement with my signature that says I have any legal obligation to pay GLASS MOUNTAIN CAPITAL LLC or XXXX XXXX I, XXXX on this alleged debt. I have attached both a conditional cease and desist and debt validation documents to this complaint.
