I cosigned for a loan with my daughter in XX/XX/XXXX with Exeter Finance LLC and unfortunately she had to let the car go back in XXXX due to her having problems with her XXXX. The loan has been closed for over 6 years and this company is still reporting on my credit that we still owe them. They have reported this as a charge off and profit and loss debt on my credit report and they are continuing to sell my information to other debt collectors. I have attempted to call them to discuss the matter but they will not remove it from my credit report. I know after 7 years it suppose to fall off but this is really hurting my credit rating. Please help if you can. Thank you for your time.
