Dear CFPB, I sent via USPS twice during the span of 60 days requesting every piece of information on my Credit file be investigated due to inaccurate information and questionable accounts on Transunion Credit report. ( Please see updated attached Credit Report ( s ) dated XX/XX/2022 ) Additionally I called Transunion at XXXX at least twice per week waiting 1to2 hours just for agents to pickup and then the phone would disconnect. I am reporting to CFPB due to the fact it feels like I am getting no where with Transunion, and they are failing to obey consumer rights and law. The FRCA says an " investigation '' means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumer 's character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he/she is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. I feel Transunion does not care for people and they treat me bad and it is costing me bad credit and higher interest rates. I have researched Transunion and I see this situation I am going through is the very thing Transunion has been sued for in multiple lawsuits! It is not fair due to Transunion 's negligence and incompetence my credit score should be impacted negatively!! Transunion states : " Public Records : XXXX XXXX XXXX, Reference Number XXXX ; Year of Birth XXXX, Employer ( s ) REAL ESTATES, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and were VERIFIED however purported investigation does not appear to have verified documentation nor proof from any Court nor man or woman. This is not a proper investigation according to the law. The issue to date is mentioned account ( s ) are still not reporting 100 % Accurate and are inaccurate to date. Please take notice pursuant to FRCA 15 USC 1681 every piece of information must be 100 % Accurate on credit report. List of Accounts in violation are circled in the attachment and you will also find a disparaging letter from Transunion in response to my second notice requesting an investigation and correction of my credit profile sent to Transunion via USPS. In closing I need to remind Transunion moreover, 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy ; and Section 604 A Section 2 : states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. Thank you for your attention on this matter.
