I made a previous CFPB report about Transunion. Transunion retaliated, giving my information to the following companies : XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. These XXXX companies began harassing me almost simultaneously by phone until I sent a validation letter asking them to contact me via mail only, explain why they think I owe them, list the breakdown of the total amount I owe, and my signature on the original documents from the original creditor. I asked them to do this within 30 days. They instead reported the debt to Transunion who didn't hesitate to place it on my credit report. This is not a coincidence.
