I opened a line of credit with scratchXXXX to take care of XXXX XXXX Originally the loan was opened for {$1500.00} but I was informed that I was approved for over {$6000.00}. Later it was determined that I did not need that much money for my dog and only {$430.00}. They did not adjust the monthly payment of the loan for this amount. I called them and they said I needed to speak with my veterinarians office but I explained that my vets office was not open and if I waited the bill would be late. The woman I spoke with said there is a grace period I didnt have to worry about the bill being late. I called my vet and they said said they would notify ScratchXXXX and I would get a new bill. I did not get a new bill. I was hit with a late charge and I did make a payment but they are telling me the amount is incorrect. Also, today I needed to use {$170.00} of the loan and they said I will have no trouble adding this amount to my loan. Later after my vet added the amount to my balance I received a call from the vets office saying they took it back. I called scratchXXXX and they said my loan is no longer valid as of XX/XX/22 and that I needed to apply again. I applied and they denied me the funds. I dont know what to do. This is not a significant amount of debt but I dont feel like this is how loans work nor do I feel that I am being treated fairly.
